EMERITUS Sister Sara Naidmee
I first heard about the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence when I was volunteering at Spencer Pride. I met Sr. Nova Aggra and was very curious about the way she was dressing and why. During later months I met Sr. Purrr Do and Sr. Geena Tonic and decided to do some of my own research on what the Sisters were all about. I was very pleased and enticed by how activism, charity, and the overall presence and support that they provide for the LGBTQIA community. I decided to come to a Crossroads Sisters meeting because through my research I learned that anyone may become a sister and participate in promulgating JOY and expiating stigmatic guilt! I personally love how the Sisters externalize what they're all about through a drag nun persona. And as a transgender female, I feel that becoming apart of the Sisters will help me become more comfortable with myself and ease my transition along the way. She elevated to Fully Professed Sister along with the house on August 21, 2017!
